Stephanie Andrew and Thealzel Lee have been named in the Investing category of B.C.'s Most Influential Women in Finance.

VANCOUVER, Canada: March, 2019 — TIMIA Capital Corporation (TSX-V:TCA), the pioneer in revenue financing, is proud to announce that two members of its leadership team have been recognized among B.C.’s Most Influential Women in Finance.

Each year, B.C. Business Magazine’s independent panel of industry experts compiles a list of female leaders across major sectors of the B.C. economy. This year’s list featured women in finance and included TIMIA’s Stephanie Andrew, Vice-President, Finance and Thealzel Lee, Director and Board Member.

“It’s an honor to be selected alongside women I greatly admire,” said Stephanie Andrew, Vice-President, Finance at TIMIA Capital. “It’s great to see B.C. Business Magazine recognizing female leaders, particularly in fields like Finance and STEM where we generally don’t see even representation in the workplace. Initiatives like this encourage more young women to take leadership positions in these professions.”

Outside of their work at TIMIA, Stephanie and Thealzel have contributed greatly to the field of finance in B.C.

Stephanie is a Founding Partner of the Women’s Equity Lab (WEL), a collaborative women investors’ fund, and Co-Founder and Executive Director of the Capital Investment Network (CIN), a Victoria-based non-profit angel investors’ organization.
